I build production AI systems. I also run companies, raise capital, and back founders shaping what comes next.

For the last 25+ years I’ve operated at every layer of technology businesses, from product and engineering to operations, analytics, and corporate development. Three times as Chief Operating Officer. Once through a nine-figure exit. Now operating at the intersection of AI and execution.

Operating

Twenty years scaling technology-forward businesses across media, ecommerce, digital platforms, and services. Led organizations of 150+ employees across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Delivery, HR, and Revenue.

Most recently, Chief Operating Officer at Trusted Media Brands following its nine-figure acquisition of Jukin Media, where I was COO and a key member of the deal team that delivered the exit. Before that, Chief Operating Officer at Onestop Commerce through its acquisition by Branded Online. Vice President of Product at US Auto Parts, a publicly traded ecommerce leader. And earlier, co-founder of eWork, a venture-backed workforce management platform that has since grown into a publicly traded company in Europe.

Through every role, my partner has been the founder-CEO. My job has been to take ambitious visions and turn them into durable operating businesses, building the systems, accountability, and talent engines that scale.

Building

Today I co-found and run operations at LOST iN, a travel media and AI-concierge platform. It’s where I get to apply twenty years of operating experience to a question I find genuinely interesting: how does AI change the operating system of a company?

The answer, so far, is: completely.

I build hands-on with the modern AI stack. Claude Code and Cursor for production development. RAG infrastructure on Pinecone and Supabase. Multi-model routing across Claude and GPT-4o. Agentic systems and the MCP framework that lets them connect to real business data. I write production code daily, iterate evals, ship features, and operate at the same engineering velocity as the AI-native teams now defining how technology companies build.

I think a lot about what this means for everyone else. The companies built around AI rather than retrofitted with it are going to look different. Leaner, faster, structured differently than what we’ve seen for the last fifty years The operating system of a company is being rewritten. I’m building one in real time and writing about what I’m learning.

Investing

I’m an active angel investor with 50+ direct positions through AngelList syndicates and additional exposure through fund LP positions. Portfolio of 100+ companies at the frontier of AI, compute, defense, and crypto.

Notable positions include Anthropic, SpaceX, Anduril, Groq, Perplexity, and Chainalysis.

I back founders building foundational infrastructure, AI-native applications, and category-defining products at the edge of what’s possible. I’ve been doing this for over a decade and intend to keep doing it for the next several.

A first-generation digital vet

I started in Silicon Valley at the inception of the commercial internet over thirty years ago. There were no blogs, no podcasts, no founder stories to guide us. We were figuring it out as we went, mostly by building.

I still think that’s how you actually learn anything that matters. So I keep building.
